At the beginning of the week Thomas Steinebach from Koblenz Tourism met Kerstin Budde member of the film team A Wall is a Screen to plan the rheinpartie-project for Koblenz. More than 30 journalists has been accredited for the press conference ‘rheinpartie 09′. Place of the press conference: the Jakobsberg Hotel. The highlight: Jean-Michel Quesne (Skertzò, Paris) presented his Rheinfels-project and 25 years of experience with “Grand Spectacle en France”. With helicopters the journalists (newspaper, magazine and tv) travelled to the original scenes of the rheinpartie between Marksburg (castle) and The Germania monument.

Walter Stolz, StolzDesign (Rodgau) is graphic designer and specialist for orientation maps and orientation systems. Whoever is on the move, in FrankfurtRheinMain’s public transportation, mostly orientates themselves by plans of StolzDesign.

Which meaning orientation systems have, this example points it out: Harry Beck has created in the 30s the world-renowned design Icon for ‘London Underground’ which untill these days many London tourists bring home as a souvenir. ‘London Tube’ is that what welds together all Londoners.  Read more...

The first test projection in Saint Goarshausen. Yesterday evening VIOSO (Duesseldorf) projected pictures on the tower of Loreley-Museum and tested the revolutionary new software. Together with the Museum (Otto Schamari) VIOSO will perform the myth of the Loreley on the facades.
